Pink Under the Tree

Welcome to our Pink Under The Tree Fundraiser for the month of October. We are excited to share with you this creative idea to help us decorate our Christmas tree with ornaments that you donate. Our goal is $5,000 and we believe with your help we can reach this goal. Every week we will update you. We will show you pictures of our tree with the ornaments that have been donated and also showcase our giving thermometer tree so you can see how close we are getting to our goal. We want you to celebrate with us every dollar because as you know, cancer did not stop because we are in the middle of a pandemic.

Christmas should be a time to gather our families together and not a time to worry where or how you can provide a special memory for your family while you fight cancer. During one’s breast cancer journey, it can be difficult to purchase gifts around the holiday season. Overcomers is assisting the breast cancer community by fulfilling gift requests from breast cancer survivors. This is our third year giving back through this program, and every year we are humbled by the requests that come in. Some examples have been: a fire extinguisher, compression stockings, a heated blanket, Christmas dinner, food for groceries, presents for their children, and even a lift chair to be able to get up and be more mobile.

Our Founder Genny Small shares why this program is so critical to others facing cancer. “As a survivor myself with children, I didn’t have the strength or finances during the holidays to bless my children. It was because of the kindness of others that my children had a Christmas.”

Our team is passionate about giving back and using our personal stories to make life a little easier for those that come after us. Will you join our mission for breast cancer awareness month and help us bless families here in the San Antonio area for Christmas?

Please select a donation level and help us reach our goal.

Thank you for your support. Together we can make a difference.
